Shower Screen Trends

Pipers latest international shower screen collection takes the shower screen industry to a whole new level. With Frameless panels coated in eco protection & matte black hardware your designer screen is achievable!

Bringing nature indoors

You will find a popular bathroom configuration is to create an open double screen with a centre entrance, leading out into a lush courtyard. Your health will be enhanced with a balance of natural light and oxygen from your garden!

Your design can extend beyond the four walls of a bathroom, think about how can you incorporate your view or window to bring nature in sight. You may also be clever with the use the colours through reflections from chrome tapware, glass and mirrors!

What’s on trend in shower screen glass designs?

It’s popular to install large glass panelling, featuring as the hero of your bathroom. You need to ensure you have correct fixings too; Pipers signature chrome or matte black brackets & support braces are minimalist in design to achieve a distinguished & safe bathroom look.

Choice of convenient shower screens to highly functional are available to complement whatever design layout you create;  use your glass in a way that attracts light & creates depth. It’s no secret that a well designed bathroom space with a high quality shower will add value to your house price tag.

Easy to maintain and keep clean is always high on my priority list – Pipers new Flexicryl walls and glass splashbacks are featured throughout new  bathrooms with absolutely no grout to scrub & can be easy to DIY on top of existing tiles too!

If child friendly is your priority consider a semi-framed option. Pipers Elfreda suite is durable, the door only opens out so you can’t get stuck. It’s lightweight and easy to install for diy or through Pipers Melbourne installation network.

Base or tiles choice!

In the new range you will find a vast array of clean crisp showerbases, these are slimline trays some with stainless steel grates that already have the fall to the drain, so much simpler than tiling & are quite modern, strong and thin.

Plan ahead

If there is any advice Elfreda Boutros, General Manager of Pipers International would give it would be, “avoid shortcuts when constructing your new bathroom, correct waterproofing is just as important as your design, functionality can sometimes overwrite design, so think about how your or the user or you will experience the bathroom once it’s complete not just the appearance.”

Pls instruct what items come with shower screen and door to affix the glass to walls and whether an instruction book is hidden anywhere.

Thanks for the inspiration for shower screens. I like the idea of using the glass shower to attract light. Our bathroom now is pretty dark, and I have been looking for ways to change that.

I agree that updating areas like the bathroom can help you add value to your house’s price. This is why I would like to take your advice and update the shower screens in the master bathroom and guest bathroom of my house. My husband and I would like to sell our current house within the next year so that we can move closer to the coast.
